Cuarón will be just one of the world class writers, historians, journalists, and filmmakers who will be taking part in the National Tribute to Carlos Fuentes this November in Mexico City. The renowned novelist and essayist is also the subject of an academic conference at UNAM’s Institute of Philology the week prior. Major cultural and academic institutions across the country will work together to celebrate Fuentes’ 80th birthday.
