‘Harry Potter director Alfonso Cuarón is scouring Scotland to find a teen star for his new blockbuster — and they don’t need ANY acting experience.

‘The Mexican movie mogul wants to recruit a lad of around 16 for the lead part in new flick Any Old Shoe, which is due to start filming here soon. And he’s pleaded with the News of the World to help find his star.

‘Alfonso, 47, said: “We are looking for a teenage boy who can play the lead role of a shepherd. This boy had a very tortured upbringing and carries a secret which he must pass on to the right person.”

‘Alfonso fell in love with Scotland while filming the third Potter flick, Prisoner Of Azkaban, in Glencoe in 2004. The movie mogul — who wrote the new film with son Jonás, 27 — added: “I’ve always wanted to return here. I love the landscape and the people.

‘”Scotland is a place like no other. Its strength and rawness, provides the perfect mythical backdrop for my new story.”‘
