Carlos Cuarón’s first feature Rudo y Cursi came out in 2008 with the 5th biggest box office opening in Mexican history.  Since then, he also wrote and directed a ten-minute English-language adaptation of Haruki Murakami’s The Second Bakery Attack, which screened around the world in 2010.
